Thanksgiving is just a day away (well, maybe not for us now that Henry has been throwing up all week...stay tuned), so what better time to talk about the Kids in the Kitchen class I've been taking once a week after school? We made some delicious treats, like pizza and parfaits, and I got to take home the recipe book you see above. Don't I look cute in my chef's hat?
Our last class was Friday, and it ended on quite a scary note: when the teachers were cooking our monkey bread in the oven, it caught fire and the firemen had to come! Everyone is okay, but Dad talked me to about it over the weekend when it was still fresh in my mind:
