School's out for summer!
Friday was the last day of my first year at school. And while it's not a big deal to me — after all, I'll be back the entire month of July for summer camp, and then classes start again in September — it certainly is to my parents. Especially after they saw the special year-end celebration my class held for them a week ago. We sang four songs for them, and I got to hold the flag during "God Bless America"!
You can see my good friend Isabella standing near me in this one.
In addition to the singing, we pulled off some choreography, like pretending to sleep.
Then we all put on fireman hats for one song!
After our little concert, we invited all the parents to have cupcakes with us. Isabella and I couldn't wait to dig in!
Here's a video from our celebration. I hope you notice how I'm one of the best at doing all the choreography and singing:
By the way, if you catch me in the right mood and ask nicely, I might just give you a personal concert!
