It's a very special day for Grandma, who is celebrating a very big birthday today, so happy birthday Grandma! I can't wait to visit her on Saturday to celebrate. I haven't seen her in a month, and I really miss her. I learned to smile this week, and I'm saving a big grin just for her!
I've grown up a lot since this picture was taken. How much have I grown? Well, yesterday was my six-week checkup, and I'm now 23 1/2 inches tall and weigh 13 pounds. It's no wonder Mom packed up my 3-month clothes this week and is now dressing me in 6-month outfits!
And while I did flash a smile during my doctor's visit, I spent most of the time crying. First off, I got my inoculations and that was not fun at all! The doctor also noticed that I'm favoring my right side — whenever I'm on my back, I always look to my right, like here:
Apparently that's not a good thing, as the shape of my head has flattened a bit on that side. It's a common thing so there's no need to worry, but now Mom and Dad have to force me to look (and sleep) on my left side — otherwise I could end up with a crooked neck!
And earlier in the week, after I was spitting up a considerable amount of formula for several days, the doctor switched my formula to Similac Sensitive R.S., a rice-based formula. So there have been lots of changes, with another big one around the corner: I think I'm moving out of my bassinet soon!
